Equivalent Absorber

The Equivalent Absorber simplifies density measurement calibration by simulating a known process value. The frame is mounted on the source side of the system. A removable plate temporarily blocks radiation, simulating a high density condition.
The absorber is for use on measurement systems when establishing calibration density references is difficult.
