Why Ohmart/VEGA?
Maggie Davis, Director of the Career & Experimental Education Center at the college, says that Ohmart/VEGA exemplifies the key qualities looked for in a company deemed Co-op Employer of the Year. These qualities include: demonstrating an enduring commitment to cooperative education as a way to develop talent, a commitment to the Mount program, going the extra mile to be a good supervisor, and participating in on-campus activities. Matthew Thomas, Intern Program Manager, donates his time to help students in Resume Writing workshops and in-class presentations to explain how important cooperative education is for students.
